I started taekwondo when I was 8 years old, I’m 11 and still in the game because I’m enjoying the sport. At First, I joined Taekwondo to learn self-defenses and make my parents happy because they wanted me to join any sport of my choice. Back then, I didn’t have any sport in the mind and one of my best friend’s dads told my dad about the taekwondo, so I decided to join her and I’m not regretting a single session of the game. I started my journey from white belt and slowly climbed my way to the top. I am happy that I am going to change my belt to First degree black belt very soon. At First, I was very shy with the new people and surrounding around me, but gradually, I started gaining confidence and made new friends too. I have learned a lot of new stuffs and had fun at the same time by playing team games which brought everyone close. We played soccer with paddles, pool noodle fighting, chicken fighting, weapons and many more which were fun and educational at the same time. Taekwondo has made me more open and extroverted person by pairing us with different partner each time, instead of making us stick with just one. Not only that, but Taekwondo has also taught me to be more disciplined, active, strong, confident, and enhanced my relax. I want to thank Mrs. Kathy, Ms. Cheynne, Asher, Dayana, Mr. Ollie, and Grand Master Park for helping me in my journey by providing proper guidance and knowledge. They have helped me learn to be responsible for all the decision I make and taught me to different between wrong and right choices. Their way for teaching really motivated and inspired me, so I want to grow up to be an amazing instructor like them and pass the techniques and knowledge to the new students.
