This is my Taekwondo story. My parents enrolled me in taekwondo in March 2021. By then I was 9 years old. My first days at the studio were very exciting. I always waited anxiously until it was time to go to class, but then I became tired because I enrolled in different programs at school such as science, technology, chess, and band, and then my parents also enrolled me in first communion and baptism classes which made me tired and I wanted to give up on taekwondo for a while but my parents told me that if I gave up for a while they would not let me return so I never gave up. It just was not in the options so I continued with taekwondo. Over time the Master began to announce pending competitions and exams which excited me a lot even though I did not go to some competitions due to lack of money or time. But I always thanked my parents because I understood the situations we were in. After I learned most of the fundamentals, the Master put me as an instructor and made me teach my classmates. Now that I am in a high belt, I feel proud of myself for not giving up and getting to where I set out to be, although it is not the end and I will still continue with taekwondo. I want to thank Master James Park for correcting me, motivating me, and guiding me. I also thank my parents for the support and time they have dedicated to me. I also thank God for keeping me well and healthy and that without him nothing is possible.
