I entered Park's Martial Arts when I was 7 years old, because my parents enrolled me. At that moments, I had only recently arrived from Mexico and I had many fears and insecurities. I remember when I went to my first competition, I felt nervous and insecure that I couldn't do well, but I gave my best and got first place, in my second sparring competition my opponent kicked me in the face and hurt my mouth and although it hurt a lot and I even cried, I managed to continue and win the 1st place trophy After a lot of practice I managed to obtain one of the medals for the best student, there is a person who I want to thank because she helped me when I needed it most Ms.Elizabeth...as well as Ms. Kathy, Kiko, Cheynne, it has been 4 years of I have worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices for myself and my parents, and I know that there is still a long way to go. Tomorrow, June 9, I will turn 12 years old and thanks to Taekwondo,Grand master James  Park and my parents, I have overcome my fears and support  now I know that with effort and determination I can achieve all my goals.
